Boy Problems? Already?

Today we had a friend from Preschool over for a play date. He said

T: "Jessica, I am going to sit by you because you are my girlfriend."
J: No I am not.
T: Yes you are because you are going to marry me.
J. No I'm going to marry Duncan. Duncan and I already decided this along time ago.
T: You can marry me and Duncan
J: No I can't. I can only marry ONE man.

Finally I intervened and said "you guys, this is not something to argue about. You won't decide who you marry until you are much, much older."

and then T said: "yeah, like 8"

Funny kids.

Thanks April!!!

My friend and neighbor April Allen took these pictures in the living room of her 2 bedroom cinderblock apartment this past week. AMAZING!!! Thank you soooo much!!! It was by far the best commute to a photo studio I have ever had- just up one flight of stairs. We were able to take the girl's pictures and then take them downstairs to my apartment with a movie and a moniter and have as much time as we wanted for Devin. THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!

This is my favorite of Devin. He was awake and happy for almost 3 hours that morning before he finally succumbed to a deep slumber. What a sweet little boy he is. I sure adore him.
I LOVE this one of all 3. What great kids I have. (These are the dresses my mom made the girls for a Christmas present. Thanks mom- you are SOOOO talented.)

My friend Malisa Twelves (this is her photography website) from CT saw my pictures I posted earlier and sent me this. :) Thanks!!! She was the first one to spoil me and teach me no matter how good the photography studio, a friend who actually knows your kids and moves around will take MUCH better pictures. Thanks Malisa- we really miss you.
Thanks again April SOOOOOOOOO much.

Awesome website!

So having 2 girls right next to each other means that most likely they will be sharing a room for a while, and from the sounds of it Jes would LOVE to have a bunk bed. So I was browsing the internet today to get ideas and I was drooling over the pottery barn website when my sister told me about this fantastic website. It is called "Knock off wood." For those that know my parents, they don't have a garage, they have a woodshop. They have made each of our bedroom sets growing up as well as countless other things. So, this website (blog) gives all of the directions and dimensions to make countless pieces of furniture including this bed- which I LOVE! So with great directions and great parents that have offered to help, eventually in the next year or so when we need bunk beds...

I also love this bookshelf/storage bin. This will have to wait until we have a house, though. There is no room in our apartment. Check out the website for sure. It is a little hard to navigate, but all the more fun to explore- right?
Scroll down for some other new posts from today, as well.

Happy Valentine's Day

Here are some attempts to take some fun pictures. Jes wanted to make this Valentine basket for her friend Duncan that moved away :( so we decided to take pictures and send them. I thought the pictures were fun so we'd share. The second round of pictures didn't go so well. Kelsi decided it would be really funny to keep throwing the card... I love being a mom of my 3 kids, even if some moments are really quite hectic, like the one I need to go break up now... :) (and scroll down for a new short video of Devin)

Devin playing

We broke out the baby toys today and both Devin and the girls had fun playing with them. I was really surprised he seemed to enjoy it so much. Anything to buy time... :) And of course stimulate learning and all that jazz.... (He is just under 4 weeks- my how time flies)
